It is situated an altitude of 2036 mts above the sea level in western Himachal Pradesh covering an area of 12 sq kms, it is built on five hills - Kathlog, Patreyn, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun.Dalhousie is blessed with outstanding natural beauty with forest trails overlooking the inviting vistas of the wooded forests, springs, rivulets and picturesque waterfalls. Climate :

Oct to April -In winter, the temperature can drop to freezing point when heavy woolens clothes are required.

May-Sep :

The summer temperature are mild and light woolens / cottons are recommended.

One can go to Church for prayer .there are four beautiful churches in Dalhousie.

SUBHASH BAOLI (1 km) :

Echanting spot surrounded by majestic trees, once our Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose spent time in 1937, contemplating and meditating in this area.

PANCHPULA (3 km) :

This is a picturesque spot with glory monument of our Indian warrior Sadar Ajit Singh.

KALATOP (11 km) :

Wild life sanctuary is a home to the 'Ghoral' and Himalayan black bear.
